On July 7, a team of 6 international teachers will fly to Athens to teach English in Action at the Arsakeio, Ekali High School from 8-12 July. This will be our first year in Greece and we can’t wait to meet the Greek students and local teachers! Initially we decided to only accept 50 students but the enthusiasm from parents was so overwhelming and convincing that now over 75 children will participate. A special thanks to Jan Vijfhuizen, Internationalization coordinator at RSG het Rijks in Bergen Op Zoom, who will be one of the teachers in Greece but is also the initiator of this project. And another special thanks to local partner/organizer Eugenia Dodopoulou, teacher and dean at Arsakeio High School, who has gone above and beyond to make sure that everyone will have an incredible week!
