“Although the practicalities are sometimes a bit of a challenge, the final outcome is more than rewarding.” quotes one of the teachers. The biggest attraction is the contact with kids of the same age in another country. “I like the fact that you can choose your country, so you can go for the atmosphere that fits your kids.” Making the videos was also a popular activity. “It’s a different kind of language learning, but because they have to be serious, as they get feedback in the group report, they tend to be very actively involved.” Registration for the new Building Bridges group starts on Thursday 20 June. The actual Building Bridges project begins in October / November 2019. "Piles and piles of exam papers are very impressive and seem endless".
